Hi, I’m Mike Egleston – travel advisor, food lover, wine enthusiast, and someone who never quite got the hang of staying in one place. I’ve worn many hats over the years: international sales in Saudi Arabia, chef, school teacher, and now partner at a travel firm helping others discover the world in ways that are meaningful, memorable, and maybe just a little bit delicious.
With a lifelong passion for exploring the unknown (thank you, Dad, and your airline employee benefits), I’ve now been to 48 of the 50 U.S. states (about half of which were seen from the back of a Chevy station wagon with my brother and sister) and recently completed an epic journey across Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, the Balkans, Spain, Turkey, and even Alaska (Reindeer hotdogs for the win!).
My approach to travel is simple: go deeper, eat better, and always take the road slightly less paved. I specialize in crafting travel experiences that go beyond the checklist and connect people with place - whether that’s a food market in Bangkok or a hidden wine bar in Barcelona.
When I’m not planning the next adventure (yours or mine), you’ll find me rolling up my sleeves with the Los Gatos Morning Rotary Club, where I get to work on community projects bigger than myself.
Just in case you’re curious, I earned a BA from UC Berkeley, a law degree from Santa Clara Law and took my teacher credential classes at San Jose State.
Let’s plan something unforgettable.
